Based in the Swedish city of Gothenburg, i will dive into the world of food together with my better half, our dog and off course our grumpy cat, who has already developet a taste for parma ham and shrimps.

So as it happens Therese mother has a grapevine growing in her garden, that has stod unused for years. I have some experience in making more or less bad fruit wines from my early student years. So this autumn we decided to try to make some real wine. We started out with an ambition that was perhaps aiming to high, to replicate the deep colour and taste of a nice Chateauneuf du pape-wine. Living in sweden dont give the best climate to grow grapes, so a few of them where still green, but we picked them anyway. 17 kg of mostly ripe grapes After some rinsing, pressing and adding sugar and yest the wine batch was ready to ferment and turn that chunky stew into gorgeous wine. Some misscalcuation on how much the grapes would float upwards once the fermentation started lead to it all spilling over our bucket and we had to remove the grapes earlier than planned. So ta-daa!
